Volunteer Nursing Assistant. Analyzed patient vitals and administered medical examinations such as Glucose tests and Hemoglobin A1c to under-insured patients in order to assist doctors with treatment, resulting in 15+ patients treated per week.

Assisted research on the parental decision-making processes for tracheostomy procedures by collecting data through interview administration and transcription to promote more informed decision making, resulting in 1 interview weekly. Created and administered surveys through Qualtrics in order to collect research data such as decision making factors and motivations leading to creation of patient information pamphlets.

Organized daily low-impact therapeutic summer activities such as art and music for a camper in palliative care, resulting in 50+ hours a week in activity participation. Attended to the physical and emotional needs of a camper through managing daily meals and cleaning in order to foster a healthy environment.
