Working as a Senior Solar Technician, I performed the installation processes of the Cable Management System (CAB System), installation of combiner boxes, performed termination of both AC & DC cables into Sungrow Inverters and recombiner systems, and subsequent grounding grids for PCS units. Additionally, I was directly involved with countless Insulation Resistance Tests (Megger) of both AC and DC cabling. I also performed the conduit installation for electrical cabling under the PCS units as well as through array and road crossings. Additionally, I was directly involved with the installation of both the SCADA and the NCU boxes for the NEXTracker system specific to Maplewood.I was selected due to my attention to detail as a critical asset in generation of cable labeling, material expediting relating to electrical equipment, and subsequent material management. I was also responsible for personnel management and administration of staff timesheets and accountability logs within the electrical department.In addition to the electrical experience listed above, I had branched out to become adept at site surveying processes, directly locating AC and DC cable, plotting as-built AC and DC cable maps and design drawings, and line markers.

Working as a Solar Technician, I directly performed the installation process of the cable management system (CAB system), installation of combiner boxes, as well as installation of DC and AC cable into the PCS skids and CAB systems. Additionally, I was on the installation team to fabricate and assemble the electrical conduit entering both the inverter as well as the recombiner sections of the PCS units and along their runs, under roadways and road crossings. My focus during this position was heavily on the DC and AC pull team, selected due to my attention to detail on the team to ensuring that the task was performed adequately and all necessary steps were followed.

In an attempt to broaden my understanding of the construction processes, I accepted a position within the Civil department of Wood and was involved on a colossal project to install one of the largest gas turbines for Duke Energies Lincoln Combustion Turbine Station, located in Lincolnton, North Carolina. As a Civil laborer, I became familiar with many of the processes of earthwork within the Construction industry. My primary role was to work along side heavy equipment operators as a designated and trained spotter, as well as field hand to verify and validate soil depth and perform detail remediation where required.I additionally was involved with the Environmental Compliance department, ensuring appropriate SWPPP measures were enacted and kept up to keep activities in compliance with Federal and State regulatory areas.
