Finance And Human Resources Manager
Current• Responsible for employing GAAP and Library best practices in the development and implementation of financial and human resources functions and for establishing effective relationships with community groups and other agencies related to administrative duties of the Library.• Responsible for the Main and Branch libraries’ financial transactions, including accounts payables, accounts receivables, and payroll• Conducts annual budgeting process in collaboration with the Library Director and Leadership Team.• Liaison for banking, pension, and benefits coordinators, and other related associations.• Oversees annual audit.• Ensures compliance with governmental accounting rules.• Ensures compliance with state and federal labor laws.• Coordinates hiring and onboarding procedures including recruitment, interviewing and orientation, as well as evaluation and termination processes.• Selects, trains, monitors and appraises Accounting and Substitute staff.• Participates in disciplinary actions.• Works with vendors to coordinate benefit plans.• Maintains employee manual and other employee documents.• Upholds union negotiated terms and assists in union negotiations.
