This Experience that I have added is a personal experience for me. I have taken care of my grandmother for a long time before she died. I was taught how to administer injections since I was 9 years old. I use to give her sugar shots to her. Then after she had gotten her leg amputated from lack of oxygen I was the one that handled her wound care. I changed her dressing, and I was so good at it she told me that she preferred that I did it instead of the home health nurse that came out to look after her. After that she had an gotten an infection and they installed an IV into her chest and she had to have her antibiotics administered through the IV in her chest. I was in charge of that as well, and had to teach my mom how to do it. I have experience in checking glucose as well, for that is one of the things I had to do with my grandmother too. My grandmother passed at 69 years old and thus my experience with her.
