A native of Homer Glen, IL, Dr. Bauer went to Purdue University where she graduated with honors. She then went off to dental school at the University of Illinois where she graduated first in her class, along with being inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honors fraternity. She then completed 3 more years of specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, where she earned her Masters Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.Dr. Bauer is an orthodontist in Wheaton. She has treated patients of all ages, from 7 to 78! She also has experience with treating patients with Special needs. She received her Masters Degree in 2010 by doing prominent research on the development of the teeth and bones in Down Syndrome patients.She also has a special interest & additional training in pediatric sleep apnea with early orthodontic treatment to increase nasal airflow & developing the bones of the arches.
