Danielle Beaulieu, M.P.H., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (SCI) in 2009. She is a member of the Society for Clinical Trials.Ms. Beaulieu joined SCI as a Research Assistant, providing support to project teams on clinical trials in a range of areas, including treatments for cardiovascular disease, thyroid cancer, active acromegaly, and age-related macular degeneration, as well as trials of malaria vaccines. She assisted project managers in preparing safety monitoring reports for Data Monitoring Committees (DMCs), designing table and figure shells, and managing communications with DMC members and sponsor teams. As she gained experience, Ms. Beaulieu took on a larger coordination role on her projects, learned SAS programming in order to develop and validate datasets and presentations, and pursued her graduate degree.As a Biostatistician, Ms. Beaulieu provides statistical support and coordination for projects spanning the areas of cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, metabolic disorders, and oncology. She programs datasets and statistical analyses, validates SAS program code, assists in the development of statistical analysis plans, and participates in writing study reports. In collaboration with senior statisticians and programmers, Ms. Beaulieu also contributed to the development of SCI’s internal training materials on SAS programming for new employees.Ms. Beaulieu received her B.A. magna cum laude in Mathematics and Biostatistics with a minor in Psychology from Emmanuel College (2008) and her M.P.H. in Epidemiology from The George Washington University (2014). Her master’s project was titled “Geospatial patterns of breast cancer treatment delay disparities in the District of Columbia”.
