The goal in my career is striving to provide the highest quality of care to every patient. Experienced in several fields of nursing and working in a collaborative care environment. Teamwork and professionalism is of upmost importance while working in the field. I have leadership experience within charge nurse roles. I have worked in the main operating room and outpatient surgical settings for several years. I have extensive experience in adult and pediatric surgery. I am a neonatal intensive care nurse and have worked in the field with critically ill infants. I love working with neonates and their families. I am apart of the neonatal eye surgery team. It is a passion I have to be there during the preop, periop and post op recovery process for those certain infants. I have also done some work as a hospice nurse on the side in which I was able to gain experience in providing end of life care. The latest field I have entered into, is working for an air ambulance company as a flight nurse which I really enjoy. We transport patients from needing hospice care, critical care, post surgical care, organ transplants, to patients needing to be moved closer to family. I have also recently gained experience as a case manager for progressive trauma, SICU and CVICU patients. I have enjoyed learning a new part of nursing within case management and social work. Education is a part of my jobs that I love dearly. I enjoy connecting with my patients and their families. Precepting new nurses and guiding them through out their orientation journey is also a passion of mine. I love nursing and am grateful for all that I have been able to learn. I look forward to continuing to challenge myself with new skills and gaining more experience in my career.
