Key product driver of all Wearables product (Outerwear, Hats, Gloves, Knit & Woven apparel, Coldweather Accessories, and Sweaters) from initial concept to quality inspection & delivery for both Domestic and Overseas production lines. Manage all stages of development, costing, and production while establishing and closely maintaining calendar timing to meet critical deadlines and ensure timely delivery of product in stores. Lead fit sessions with design, and direct TD team in order to help identify and solve fit & construction challenges. Supervise PD team. Weekly interface with Production & Sourcing DVP, Merchandising DVP, and Design DVP. • Initiate and maintain Time & Action calendar for all phases of product development and production. Work closely with internal & external partners to ensure key milestones are achieved. Identify challenges while strategizing action plans for Design, PD, TD, and Materials teams to work toward.• Evaluate garment fit, construction, and workmanship on all prototype samples. Oversee TD team and provide guidance on technical product execution and fit. Ensure consistency in quality of fit direction across the category. • Manage and oversee product costing for each new introduction and develop strategies to meet and exceed margin requirements.• Define and manage the improvement of product margins through excellent negotiations, clear knowledge of component costs at the factory level. • Oversee financial budget for production operations to ensure cost-effective and profitable production.• Supervise creation and maintenance of all Bills of Material (BOM’s) by PD staff, following Design Card handoff.• Troubleshoot production quality issues and establish corrective action plans to prevent recurrences. • Direct and supervise PD team in executing day to day activities based on strategic priorities and drive issue resolution to meet milestone goals.• Travel to Development and Production Facilities worldwide as needed.
