Finance Manager
Current•Deputy Finance Lead for BBN’s Physical Sciences and Systems group•Responsible for generating monthly forecast and consolidating the business unit's results/outlook into an Operations Package for executive review•Contributes to the fiscal Annual Operating Plan and the Five Year Strategic Outlook Plan •Serves as FP&A Lead for Business area and provides detailed input at monthly forecast meetings/program reviews •Provides direct support to Finance Lead and Business Manager on financial deliverables, labor utilization, and ad hoc requests•Partners with all functional areas (Program Managers, Contracts, GBS, and Supply Chain) to ensure business unit and programs are operating efficiently•Serves as the backup to the Finance Lead and provide proposal review/approval, management support, and field questions or requests from the business unit staff members•Trusted business partner to Program Managers in multiple geographic locations. Provides program financial management for a portfolio of Maritime, Advanced Systems, and Proprietary programs; accounting for approximately 50% of the business unit’s annual revenue•Program financial management duties include: revenue forecasting, manpower planning, monthly financial deliverables, unbilled/invoice tracking, comprehensive EAC reporting, committed funds tracking, and subcontractor management•Lead pricer for several proposals and ROMS utilizing both ProPricer and ACES; assists in the generation of cost volumes, coordination of subcontractor proposals, and generation of Bill of Materials in accordance with Raytheon’s estimating policy and procedures• Provides mentoring/training and career development support to one direct report
