Assisted Certified Athletic Trainers to prevent injuries, rehabilitate existing injuries, and prepare athletes for athletic competition. Prepared athletic facilities for practices and competitions i.e. water, injury ice, and first aid equipment (tape,splints,crutches, AED). After events, I was involved in the cleanup of events as well. Observed and learned about many treatments such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, GameReady, ice and heat, as well as common taping methods for various body parts. Under supervision I provided these services to athletes as well.
