I'm an Occupational Therapist with over 8 years of experience in healthcare. I’ve spent the majority of my career working at the University of Kansas Hospital. I’ve worked as a travel Occupational Therapist on the Big Island of Hawaii the past 2 years in conjunction. Between contracts, I’ve started working as a consultant as well as providing private, in-home and Telehealth services. My journey in the medical field has equipped me with a keen ability to understand and communicate intricate medical concepts and foster positive outcomes for patients. I pride myself on being compassionate, versatile, and an effective communicator.Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving in range of acute care setting as well as inpatient rehabilitation. I've diligently conducted comprehensive patient assessments, developed individualized treatment plans, and collaborated with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide the best possible care. My experience extends beyond direct therapy; I've advocated for and educated patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and strategies, ensuring that they are empowered and informed every step of the way.I am passionate about promoting patient well-being and quality of life.
