Project lead for the Regional District’s economic development initiatives and community grant writing program.I led the award-winning, multi-year Forest Capital of Canada program, bringing together dozens of stakeholders to promote the region’s diverse forestry sector. I also established and managed a community grant writing program to help connect local organizations with funding sources – a program that continues to operate and benefit CRD communities today.

Selected by the Local Government Management Association (LGMA) to gain first-hand experience in government communications, economic development, policy development, and more.In 2010, I led the design, build, and operation of the region’s award-winning interactive BC Street pavilion at the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, which was visited by 475,000 spectators and received international media attention.

Advised on two successful funding applications for the Sechelt Water Resource Centre project, which was constructed in 2015 and has won several environmental awards.
