I have worked at CRMC since 2008 in various positions. I was a CNA and unit secretary for many years before moving to the OR as a CST in 2016. From 2016-2021 I learned as many specialities as I could. I specialize in Neurosurgery but am proficient in Ortho, Plastics, Podiatry, GYN, URO, and General/Trauma. I have done minor vasuclar cases and Da Vinici. I also have scrubbed MAKO, MAZOR and Stealth. In 2021 I became the Plastics/Podiatry Service Coordinator. I order supplies/instruments for my surgeons. I am responsbile for biologicals/implants and that each case is ready and prepared for the next day with the pick/recipe sheets that I oversee everyday. I am a certified preceptor and have sat on our unit practice council in our department. I have helped organize a new and effective schedule for call for all CSTs in the department and am a veteraned member of my call team (neurosurgery).

I worked PRN at High Plains Surgery Center on my days off from my full-time position at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's main OR. I would scrub a variety of specialties of GYN-Ortho-ENT-General-Neuro-Dental. I would assist in assembling cases (supplies and instruments) for the next day. Help clean and turnover rooms for the next surgical case. Help organize and stock equipment/supplies. When needed I would also assist in the sterile processing department.
