During my 480-hour internship experience, I:• Applied the FITT principle and ACSM exercise guidelines to create appropriate rehabilitation and home exercise prescriptions for patients with cardiac, pulmonary, and vascular conditions• Performed resting and exercise blood pressures, lung auscultation, six-minute walk tests, and Gardner stress tests to determine patient’s current disease status and exercise capacity• Completed comprehensive initial, midterm, and discharge treatment plans on each patient to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the exercise and education programs
