Carrying out my master's thesis project on synthesizing PROteolysis TArgeting Chimeras (PROTACs) drug candidates to selectively target and degrade the brachyury transcription factor, which is implicated in chordoma cancers, as a possible cancer treatment. Also designing novel covalent and non-covalent ligands for brachyury and testing their affinity. Summer 2021 work funded by the Yale College Dean's Research Fellowship; subsequent work funded by the Yale STARS II Program.

Selected for as one of 10 students for this internship, served as a liaison between Fair Haven School (Title I elementary school with a predominantly Latino student population) and the Yale community, ran a year-long after-school virtual tutoring program emphasizing cultural awareness and mentoring with 20+ Yale tutors.
