- Collect and analyze water samples from ten locations around Edgartown Great Pond. - Use a secchi disk, CTD and Photometer to measure accurate readings of the pond samples. - Drive and operate a boat - Have weekly meeting to to discuss the work week and look at the data using Excel.

- Provide exceptional service at a fine dining restaurant by working as a team with the kitchen staff, bussers, waitstaff and management. - Understand the wine list and be able to pair according to meal and customer. - Train new employees in different areas of the service process.

- A seasonal job through the summer months. - Handel and grow oysters, scallops and clams. - Work with a team of 8-20 people from the EPA and multiple shellfish departments to implant three new wetland conservation projects. - Complete weekly tasks of transporting equipment, cleaning and sorting shellfish by size and seeding out juvenile shellfish.

- During nesting and hatching season (May to early August).- Put up fencing and other barriers to protect piping plovers, least terns and oyster catchers on public and private beaches from natural and human disturbances. - Monitor the populations of these birds. - Gather critical information for recovery and management of the Northern Long-Eared Bat.

- Met biweekly deadlines with a complete and final edited article. - Interviewed students, staff and the community about significant topics on or around Eckerd College. - Collaborated with group members on possible article topics for each issue.

- Geological Oceanography: introduction class to marine geology and other areas of oceanography. - Earth Materials: Upper level marine geology course based on mineralogy and sample identification. - Assisted during lab hours and graded in class assignments. - Reviewed work and tutored students during out of class time.

- Interviewed prospective students and families interested in Eckerd College.- Gave weekly tours of Eckerd College's campus to groups ranging in 3-12 people.- Stayed in contact with students and answered any questions during the application process.

The main point of this internship was to do wetland research and also use GIS to - Used ArcGIS to produce maps of Martha's Vineyard wetlands present day, with 2.5 feet of sea level rise and with 5 feet of sea level rise. - Organized and presented at meetings available to the public to show the importance of wetlands and help decide which wetlands should be priority in protecting. - Researched different techniques to measure growth and quality of wetlands. - Created powerpoint presentations on various topics such as, climate change, beach erosion and storm surge.- Reached out to the community and other organizations for support, interest and funding of the project.
