Danielle Cleaver Work Experience Details
  • Shift+Alt Events
    Event Producer
    Shift+Alt Events Jan 2024 - Present
I plan bespoke events for nonprofits, private companies and high-net-worth individuals who want a high level of detail and low level of stress for their special events. I meet with clients to discover their dreams, and then meticulously plot out and execute on a plan specially crafted for them, resulting in an unforgettable experience and moments of connection. I plan and fulfill end-to-end productions, from venue hunting, to program planning, to guest comms and management, to vendor relations and day-of coordination.
  • Escape The Routine
    Production Assistant

  • Gusto
User Experience Research Operations Program Manager
    Gusto Sep 2018 - Feb 2023
    San Francisco, California, Us
I leveraged my superpowers of communication, attention to detail, and initiative-taking to tackle challenges in UXR and create a more mature program during Gusto's rapid growth years.I built UXR ops processes from scratch, established our tool stack, iterated on our support model, and maintained vendor relationships. I conscientiously communicated program updates, hosted monthly trainings and drove our advisement program where I also strategized with cross-functional teams to unblock their research.Spearheading the development of our Salesforce-based participant outreach/tracking app, I quadrupled research scalability in its inaugural year, and de-risked the prior policies and methods to keep us in compliant. By establishing and managing our Rapid Research program for the product design team & XFN partners, I enabled colleagues to conduct impactful qualitative and quantitative studies at scale, and share their results with the entire company.
  • Soulfriends
    Community Guide
    Soulfriends Jun 2020 - Nov 2020
    San Francisco, Ca, Us
During the 2020 pandemic, I freelanced as a Writing Quest Community Guide to support 40+ attendees in their writing goals over 2 rounds of this 6-week course. I crafted weekly comms, met with our instructors & guest authors to plan engaging curriculum, and acted as main point of contact to encourage 'small group' and 'buddy' support in addition to the large-group virtual sessions. In parallel to providing high quality instruction, the Quest provided structure around goal setting to help attendees achieve writing goals. We sought to combat the negative effects of isolation during this remote year, and we built strong bonds between creatives. I created a yearbook for everyone to take the memories on with them, and assisted in the following round when my successor suddenly couldn't participate. Several community members continued meeting semi-monthly after the program, to stay in touch and keep supporting each other; it's one of the best things that came out of 2020.
