CSR Charity champion - co-ordination of a committee of volunteers to promote and engage staff in fundraising activities and volunteering opportunities. Graduated from Unum’s Accelerated Leadership Programme which identifies high performers and allows them the opportunity to lead a project tackling a real business issue. This involved travel and partnership with colleagues from the US business and the opportunity to present findings back to the executive board. Our project provided recommendations back to the business on measuring return on investment in customer experience. Attendance to coaching and leadership training and seminars was also required alongside mentoring of three employees.

Working as a key contact for Unum’s sickness absence management and management of internal cases requiring return to work support. Delivering Line Manager training both on site and via webinar in prevalent sickness absence topics (musculoskeletal disorders, re-occurring conditions, stress awareness, bereavement and cancer). Working with a small team and the Mental Health Foundation to research, design, produce and develop a new workshop around supporting employees with mental health issues. Implementation and promotion of CSR activity in line with the strategic wellbeing programme.Working with alignment to the claims teams assisting the claims experience and developing client relations. Supporting the sales team by attending implementation meetings, analysing referral data and problem solving with existing clients to ensure they receive the most effective service for them. Case management of approximately 30 employees at a time who require support at work or require return to work support.
