As a member of the Council on the Status of Women at NC State, I serve as an undergraduate student representative of the Feminist Collective of NC State. This year I am the Co-chair of the Campus Climate Committee. We are currently building a mentorship program for underrepresented students, faculty, and staff to address recruitment and retention throughout campus. We are also making recommendations for how to improve inclusivity, safety, and feelings of belonging across campus that will be presented to NC State provost.

Within Wellness and Recreation, I designed and instructed well rounded group fitness workouts focusing on three main components of fitness including flexibility, strength, and cardio. I assisted individuals in achieving their fitness goals while creating community in and outside the studio. I taught early morning Yoga, TRX, and HIIT.Within the Outdoor Adventures Department, I taught introduction to rock climbing and monitored participants' risk management. I founded a student lead initiative, Minorities in Outdoor Leadership (MOLs) to organize events towards targeted populations such as women, the LGTQA+ community, and People of Color. I organized and hosted the first-ever Women in Outdoor Leadership Celebration which consisted of a day trip to hike, eat, and discuss matters of inclusion. Lastly, I lead an initiative for women and non-binary people rock climbing event, Women on Rocks.
