Division Director
CurrentResponsible for directing division staff and activities related to the development of program policies, procedures, as well as the conduct of monitoring and evaluation related to Medicaid section 1115 demonstrations.-Develop strategic monitoring and evaluation plans to promote innovation and improvements in program performance.-Collaborate across work units to manage projects/ new initiatives aimed at analyzing key Medicaid and/or other similar national health insurance demonstrations policies and strategies to drive innovation and program improvement.-Manage continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency in program monitoring and evaluation and related operations.-Develop and manage multi staff, multi project work plans to establish priorities. -Oversee budget formulation and acquisition of contracts to support program operations.-Develop staff expertise in the application of measurement and evaluation methods to assess program performance and outcomes.-Collaborate with diverse stakeholders (i.e. states. federal agencies, beneficiary groups, providers and advocacy groups) to negotiate terms of program monitoring and evaluation. -Represent the interests of the organization's leadership in meetings and workgroups.-Draft program policy objectives to promote high quality cost effective health care services.-Develop correspondence and responses to address inquiries from stakeholders regarding monitoring and evaluation of health services programs and related operational policies.-Appropriately apply Medicaid or other similar national health insurance regulations, policies, procedures, and requirements to provide technical support.-Oversee the review and approval of Medicaid or other similar national health insurance related demonstration monitoring and evaluation strategies to ensure creation of data and program outcomes to assess impacts on beneficiaries and on health system program and financial performance.
