Coordinates STEM programing for pre-college and undergraduate students. The mission of the David T. Kearns Center for Leadership and Diversity in Arts, Sciences and Engineering at the University of Rochester is to expand the educational pipeline through the doctoral degree for low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented minority students. - Advise math, engineering and science students- Develop curriculum for and teach an engineering course for pre-college students- Develop and facilitate workshops/programs for pre-college and undergraduate students- Perform research on targeted student performance to aid in grant funding- Administers tutoring program and study groups for undergraduate students

Key contributor in the recruitment of college graduates into the Engineer field. Organized ITT’s presence at national and regional conferences for the student component of the National Society of Black Engineers and society of Women Engineers.Recruited recent college Engineer graduates and served as a mentor to successfully retain them within the company and assist in the enhancement of their skill.Performed thermal analysis on satellite components to predict performance response during an orbit.Defined instrumentation for thermal vacuum tests as well as correlated thermal models post-testing.Designed multi-layer insulation thermal blankets for several satellite projects and negotiated production contracts with blanket manufacturers.Maintained database of mass properties information for components of a satellite program and Unigraphics CAD models of these components. Updated models to accurately represent completed hardware.Supported Systems Engineering group by performing requirements verification analysis for the satellite program in the areas of mass properties, space envelopes, and sub-system performance.Defined mass-simulator design requirements for a multi-company satellite project. Integrated individual simulators from separate companies and designed simulator dynamics test configuration.
