About Danielle Day
Hospitality can be described as" the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers."After working part time in a quaint little country pub when I was growing up, I fell in love with the hospitality industry and knew from the beginning that this was the industry I wanted to build my career in. This encouraged me to do a degree in international hospitality management, and there was only one university I was going to do it in- Oxford Brookes. My four years at University encouraged and grew my passion and desire to work in this fast paced, exciting, people focused and physical industry. As well as teaching me a variety of important skills and an in depth understanding of the key factors and elements driving hospitality.Since graduating from Oxford Brookes I have situated myself in the Bedfordshire area and have worked in two 4 star hotels and one 5 star . One being a small old Manor House in the middle of the countryside that prided itself on its history, And retained its two AA Rosettes under my management. The second a large 18th century building full of character sitting on the river front over looking the great ouse. and the third a large well known 5 star estate. I am now trying my hand at contract catering at a large pharmaceutical company! I have been with the company nearly 4 years and have been promoted along the way I am a highly motivated person who is driven, hard working and enthusiastic. I like to challenge myself and strive for perfection in every aspect of my career, and always put the customers needs first.
