With over 20 years accreditation experience, Danielle is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of NATA’s accreditation programs and services. She provides direction and advice to NATA staff and members on technical matters and contributes to the strategic direction of NATA. She represents NATA at various International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) committees and is the convener of the ILAC Scopes of Accreditation and ILAC Sampling working groups. Prior to ILAC she represented NATA for many years at various Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) committees and is also an APAC peer evaluator undertaking evaluations of accreditation bodies who participate in the APAC and ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA).Prior to joining NATA as a Scientific Officer in the fields of Chemical Testing and Veterinary Testing in 2004, Danielle worked as a chemist at a number of environmental testing laboratories.Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a 1st class Honours from the Flinders University in South Australia. Her Honours project focused on the palaeoenvironmental reconstruction of Proconsul habitats in Western Kenya and was a collaboration with the National Geographic Society and the Department of Palaeontology, National Museums of Kenya.
