About Danielle Distefano
Danielle DiStefano is the Executive Vice President of Post Operations & Technology for ITV America, working across the company’s six vertical production labels and overseeing all aspects of post-production at ITV America’s East Coast and West Coast headquarters, as well as on location. DiStefano leads one of the largest departments in the company, encompassing more than 600 edit systems, over 10 online rooms, several audio mix rooms including a Dolby Atmos room, and manages a team that’s responsible for delivering 500+ hours of content to more than 25 cable, broadcast and streaming partners every year. Leading the charge with innovation and creative problem-solving, Danielle has been spearheading the launch of ITV’s remote editorial workflows since 2017. This foresight helped Distefano and her team deploy over 300 producers, editors and AEs to a remote work environment during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and the footprint has only grown since then. One of Danielle’s biggest accomplishments at ITV is successfully launching and delivering over 100 hours of Love Island from 2020 through 2022, persevering through COVID-19 and technological challenges associated with large scale remote productions.Prior to joining ITV, DiStefano served as VP of Post Production at Leftfield Pictures, as well as Post Production Supervisor at Original Media (now Truly Original), MTV and VH1. She began her career as a production assistant for NBC Sports & Olympics and has since returned for four Olympic Games with the network, including an Emmy-winning stint as a Media Manager at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. When not crunching data numbers and worrying about fiber connectivity, Danielle can be found driving her daughter to theater practice or hanging at the dog park with her wife, daughter and two dogs. Danielle also volunteers as the Chairperson for the AVID TV and Film Production Committee, a mentor with WIN- the Women in Non Fiction group, and participates in Chief, a private network intent on supporting women in top roles in all industries.
