I am privileged to call the unceded lands of the Snuneymuxw peoples my home. My lineage stems from Cowichan Tribes, Sechelt First Nation, Indigenous Hawaiian, and mixed European ancestry. My lineage is deeply embedded within the lands of the Coast Salish people. My teachings in culture and academia are at the intersection of two-eyed seeing, community building, inclusion, and service. My professional experience is diversified in health and community support, in social work, and in psychedelic medicines. My own healing journey opened a path of lifelong learning around self-awareness, humility, compassion, and reciprocal relationship to the land.
