It’s not so much the numbers but the client interaction and problem solving that are Danielle's favourite aspects of accounting.Her particular area of specialisation at Oxygen Private Clients is defining entities and achieving the best outcome for family groups, utilising business forecasts and restructures to produce the most effective means of tax minimisation. Danielle's clients include large family groups where she handles their financials, tax returns, high level reviews and year end financial planning, and also assists with asset succession strategies. Having worked with some of her clients for the entire twelve years she's practised accounting, Danielle has, understandably, built some extremely close client relationships. She attributes the close bonds between clients and the Oxygen Private Clients team as the reason team members go "above and beyond" in the delivery of client services and aim to exceed expectations.Outside work, Danielle frequently visits Werribee's Open Range Zoo where she worked for 6 years while studying. This die hard Western Bulldogs fan also enjoys brunches with friends and spending time with her young son.

Working in the Private Clients Team at Mutual Trust after starting as a co-op student at Dominion Private Clients in 2008 (Dominion Private Clients then merged with Mutual Trust) I have enjoyed my journey to become one of the Senior Tax Consultants in my team. I have extensive experience in Tax and Accounting and working in a team of about 30. My day to day roles include reviewing tax returns and accounts prepared by junior staff, cash flow and tax planning for clients, assisting staff in their day to day work, managing junior staffs workflow and regular meetings to give feedback, and assisting clients with a range of activities that help make their lives simpler. I thoroughly enjoy the day to day interaction with clients and working with my team to produce the best possible outcome.I am also involved in managing the ATO lodgement list for our firm to ensure client deadlines are met.

I worked at Werribee Open Range Zoo for 5 years starting as a casual whilst at high school. My role as 'admissions officer' included greeting the public, answering phones, taking bookings, issuing tickets, answering all questions and dealing with complaints. Over the 5 year period I worked my way up to 'Admissions Officer' which involved managing the ticket office, producing staff rosters, budgets and finance reports, programing bus rosters, managing a team of 15 staff, bookings and customer queries and complaints, first aid and staff feedback. I also ran Christmas functions and was in charge or ensuring every customers day was an enjoyable one.
