During my time working for the NIHR I have taken on the role as lead ‘Change Champion’ for the migration over from Outlook to Google Apps, my main achievements are:- Being highly involved in organising the company-wide transition to Google Apps- Transitioning a handful of early adopters and sending key messages to users.- Managing and communicating a user readiness survey.- I helped to establish the change champion program and I am now the lead ‘change champion’ which is an ongoing role for me. - Organised ‘marketing’ days on the run up to the roll out to create a positive perception of Google apps. - Highly involved in designing the training plan, delivering and evaluating ongoing Google apps training to change champions with excellent take-up and feedback. - Preparing a huge amount of training material and user checklists for the migration and managed floor walking on the day of the migration of legacy data from Outlook to Google apps. - Identified accessibility issues for the whole network and continually working to overcome various issues.- Create a monthly Digest to share good news stories and tips and tricks across the network to try to inspire other teams to use Google apps as a better way of working to increase productivity.I’m also a very confident user of a range of e-learning tools to support learning in the organisation.Supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of the overall Information Services Training Strategy to support up to 10000 users nationwide.This includes both face to face learning, the use of a wide range of web-based technologies. I have developed the Workforce Development e-learning toolkit, setting out future plans for large-scale e-learning projects. Training and supporting a national Learning Taskforce of 50 trainers based in 15 Local Research Networks across the UK. -
