My role has two main aspects - sales and marketing. On the sales side I work alongside the field sales reps, Account Managing the East, South and West of the country. This includes large household brands such as Nestle, Walkers, Aunt Bessie's, Mars, P&G, GSK, Quaker Oats and British Sugar - down to small companies just starting off their business's. My job role includes, following a lead through from their first point of contact, to first visits from the External Area Managers and arranging print samples, all the way through to the customer placing their order. I make sure the machines get built in our warehouse on site and the order gets sent, as well as arranging the installation and training for each machine. I am the point of contact for all aftersales questions, I follow up with any questions the customer may have as well as looking after any future orders that they may place. The role is predominantly office based, although one day a week is usually out meeting clients face to face.My area is the top selling area in the company with over 110 printers being sold this last year when the target was 72.The second part of my job role is Marketing. I look after the companies Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus and Instagram Pages), handle contact with the press, write press releases, organise our exhibitions, the companies Christmas party's and summer socials, update the dynamic pages of our website, send out HTML mailshots, Google Analytics, update our Wikipedia Page and design and create website banners and remarketing advertsWe have regular on and off site meetings with the company who designs our website as well as our online marketing consultant who assist us with our SEO and PPC campaigns. -
