Boots on the ground for a multi conservation organization team working with landowners to create a Vulture Safe Zone in the Karoo region of South Africa. Works with landowners to promote sustainable land management to improve productivity and sustainability of Karoo veld. Assisted in African White Backed Vulture nest monitoring in the Kalahari region of South Africa and African White Backed vulture chick ringing and tagging in the Northern Cape. Raised on a farm in the Karoo and gained experience in sustainable land and species management through exposure as a child and young adult. Experience working on a private game reserve being involved in multiple sectors on the property ranging from land management, species breeding programmes and hospitality.
