I am currently in my final year of studying Business and Management at Aston University.I am thoroughly enjoying my course, especially the marketing and analytics units. After receiving a first in both of these units, I decided to make these the main areas of focus for my second and final year. I have gained various skills from my time at university, both within my degree and my extracurricular activities such as cheerleading. Through my units, I have gained skills in using PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and communication skills to give presentations and work in teams. I have also transferred the communication and teamwork skills through to my cheerleading. Taking part in cheerleading and studying for my degree has meant I have had to use my time management skills to balance right. I also had a part-time job when home from university. I worked for seven years working in various areas and with different people and supervising the younger staff. For my placement year job, I continued working here, focusing on learning all business areas. However, this was cut short due to COVID-19. This was when I started my role at Partior. I have learnt many skills, including Adobe premier pro, by creating an advertisement video and articulating storyline to create product resource material.
