Writing, designing and editing the monthly newsletter for this internationally known non-profit stay-at-home moms organization. During my time as an editor I was able to increase the newsletter from 4 to 8 pages. The newsletter is distributed to approximately 30-40 club members as well as several regional coordinators. The newsletter became online-only in the Fall of 2011 and with the online only distribution, I was able to use color photos and colored text throughout the newsletter and change the page count as needed each month. This was a volunteer position.

-Writing and editing magazines, brochures, websites, press releases, and the quarterly corporate newsletter as well as various other printed materials; a liaison between the corporate marketing department and the marketing departments at each regional office; proofreading and editing all printed materials created by the Media Director; proofreading and editing all ads created by outside advertising agencies; writing customized email responses to prospective homebuyers; assisting in the creation and maintenance of the database of prospective homebuyers; frequent meetings with the Media Director and Vice President of Marketing to review all current and upcoming advertising and marketing plans; and numerous other tasks

-Worked as a temp at many different companies and tasks included switchboard, filing, data entry, scheduling appointments and other administrative tasks

-Writing, editing and designing magazines for home builders and general contractors across the country. National clients included Pulte Homes, Beazer Homes, Ashton Woods Homes, David Weekley Homes and Lennar Homes as well as various local and custom home builders; also edited and indexed Harold Ashton’s biography, "Harold Ashton: Reflections of a Proud Family Patriarch, Gentleman and Master Builder."
