Paul is a recognized expert in the field and past President of the Ontario Professional Carpet Cleaners Association, Floorcovering Institute of Ontario (FIO) and the National Floor Covering Association of Canada. In 2000 Paul purchased Camel Oriental Rug Cleaners and moved the company to its new 5,000 square foot cleaning plant in Oakville. In 2008, Lakeshore Cleaning & Restoration was honored to be recognized as the FIO’s Carpet Cleaning Company of the year. Lakeshore is one of only 2 companies in Canada to be have passed the gold standad Master Rug Cleaners certification and has 2 acredited staff members.In 2019 Lakeshore was nominated as for the Oakville Chamber of Commerce Small Business award.Lakeshore services over 200 commercial clients and thousands of residential customers every year. In the early 1960’s Lakeshore were one of the first companies in Ontario to purchase high powered truck mounted cleaning units. Since owning the company Paul Skeels has made an ongoing commitment to provide Lakeshore’s customers with state-of-the-art cleaning methods and technology. This is achieved by being a long time member of three key industry trade associations (ASCR, IICRC and FIO) that offer ongoing training and certification programs. Lakeshore does not use subcontractors, and all staff members are experienced and trained beyond IICRC standards. Our specialists are trained in tough spill/spot removal and are focused on delivering high quality results every time that are in accordance with major manufacturers warranties, such as Shaw, Mohawk and Kraus.
