Working as a merchandise manager for Sony involves organising and supervising the sales of merchandise with any performing acts that come to Bundaberg. This is an incredibly faced-paced and demanding position that requires set-up, processing of stock and financial takings, as well as recruiting other staff. The management position demands efficient and effective communication and planning abilities.

Currently working as a barista and general floor staff in an elite, specialised environment. This position entails many different aspects which require quick thinking and great customer communication skills. Working at Leaf and Bean has required me to be adaptive and systematic in regards to learning new procedures and processes implemented by supervisors. The role of a barista also requires me to be charismatic and commonly able to develop professional friendships.

During this time I completed all training and education in relation to working with Indigenous Youth, Youth with Disability, and Troubled Youth. I thoroughly enjoyed the impact and guidance in which a support worker offers to their clients. I obtained a Blue Card and Yellow card, however fell pregnant with my first child right at the beginning of my employment and was not able to continue in the field due to ill health at the time.
