Developed and led a project looking at the role of steroid hormone signaling on early stages of oogenesis including cyst divisions and oocyte specification. Developed and troubleshoot a variety of new protocols including RNA-seq and RNA immunoprecipitation within the lab. Trained and oversaw other graduate and undergraduate students and their independent projects.

Preparation and teaching of beginner and advanced Human Anatomy and Physiology Labs, including several experiments and dissections, to 75 Health Sciences students per semester.

Assisted attorneys preparing for trials, hearings, and closings in personal injury cases. Responsible for compiling and organizing medical records.

Design, execute and communicate experiments, in collaboration with Rita B. Effros from UCLA, on the effects of the nutraceuticals resveratrol, and cycloastragenol on the regulation of cellular senescence in human T-cells. Presented results at the annual American Association of Immunologists conference in 2009 and 2011.

• Worked in the Cell and Developmental Biology labs of the Rocky Mountain Taste and Smell Center. Assisted with lab maintenance, preparation of media, slide preparation, staining, and handling of animal tissue.
