I am responsible for leading/supervising the Marketing Team and Technical Assistants helping the department to achieve personal and departmental goals. Some of my job responsibilities are:Organize and manage pro-active renewal process. Schedule and facilitate carrier visits for the company that are marketing related which allows me & the company to maintain knowledge of market appetite for business. Prepare proposals outlining quoted coverage, premiums and policy forms for Account Executive to present to clients. Assist in developing reports that reflect workflow capacity. Verify adequate department workload distribution using system generated reports. Facilitate marketing and technical assistant meetings using appropriate brainstorming, problem solving, decision making, and project planning. Receive all new business submissions and assign to applicable Marketing Coordinator. Coordinate and approve PTO for Marketing Department and Technical Assistants. Responsible for performance appraisals of Marketing Personnel & Technical Assistants. One of the decision makers in the hiring process for Marketing Coordinators, Technical Assistants, and Administrative Assistants. I have great decision-making ability and maintain calmness under pressure. I am able to plan and prioritize work for myself and others.

Marketing of new and renewal business and binding coverage for the agency. Do bid and performance/payment bonds for our clients. Worked on getting our agency paperless, cross-training of our Technical Assistants due to the restructuring of our teams, developed several tools that we use in the agency, put together a new producer reference guide for the onboarding of new producers, trained new employees in how to use TAM. Assist with training on our procedures and processes as needed. Currently in charge of getting our agency set up and moving all of our clients to a new online certificate program by writing the procedures, doing the training, and setting up the client portal.

I was a Customer Service Agent for personal lines accounts. I did quoting and placing of insurance and day to day maintaining of the accounts.
