Coordinator
I worked as the Coordinator of the Art Rentals + Sales department, a commercial gallery within the retail section of the AGO, designed to raise funds that are directed back into general operations. Responsibilities included: coordinating five exhibitions per year, managing 30 volunteers on a daily basis, lapsing with artists to negotiate consignment of artwork, sales: working with clients on acquiring contemporary artwork selected from 50 top private galleries in Toronto, implementing business strategies to reach financial targets, the installation and take down of all artwork for events and exhibition, writing press releases, scheduling, arranging deliveries and coordinating the opening events.
