Yoga Sutra Shala is a remote retreat center located in the Val Galinera of southeast Spain. For 6 weeks, I performed simple daily duties such as maintaining shared guest spaces, keeping the yoga studio tidy, sweeping floors, cleaning mats and blocks before and after practices. A few shifts a week, I played junior sous chef to our vegan chefs helping them prep top quality meals for our guests. I was also given the opportunity to lead Vinyasa yoga, meditation, and weekly Kirtan classes.

I utilized Excel and Tessitura, a visitor, audience, and donor software created specifically for the art sector, to coordinate productions and mailing for spring and year-end solicitation letters.

The Houston Arboretum contains over 5 miles of nature trails, with forest, pond, wetland, and meadow habitats. I was assigned to supervise social media outreach. I was responsible for drafting and copyediting a monthly media calendar and helped the Director of Communications coordinate and deliver email and direct mail campaigns. I also photographed and edited pictures through Photoshop to create a weekly newsletter for our summer camp participants via Microsoft Publisher.
