As the previous local Campus Captain for Belltower was in charge of conducting research on the behalf of the organization, informing our local buyers of this information through holding weekly meetings, employing various marketing strategies in order to persuade students to sell their textbooks to our company, and tracking those books to ensure they are sent the national headquarters. In achieving this I had the responsibility of providing funds to each buyer and ensuring that they had the correct amount of money based on the sales they made. As this position allowed me to purchase textbooks from students as well, I was able to employ my abilities in sales and persuasion to convince pupils to sell their textbooks to me. Therefore, this job allowed me to prove and essentially strengthen my leadership skills by presenting the opportunity to engage with customers in a sincere and friendly manner. Additionally, I maintained knowledge of sales, campaigns, promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchanges.

As a previous corporal member of the notable radio station, WBXB 100.1, apart of the Carolina Broadcasting Company, I had several roles which included broadcasting, marketing the association or the events that the company sponsored, writing, creating, and editing radio commercials. During my experience with CBC, I had the pleasure of creating promotions for many talk show hosts, such as Bobby Jay, Tom Joyner,Michael Badsin and other representatives from other established companies. Additionally, one of my other duties was to conduct demographic and psychographic research on the station’s listeners in order to not only craft scripts and/or promotion reels that would better appeal to them, but my role also extended to convincing local and regional companies to either partner and/or invest in our radio industry. Lastly, my position, also, extended to having to record representatives from companies that purchase airtime from ours through an advanced music production computer program and EDM machine, in which I learned how to master in a short period time. After conducting a recording session, I was also responsible for editing the recording produced through enhancing the overall sound, equalizing wavelengths and frequencies, and editing out all of the speaker's breaths. Afterward I would add the recording to another set of edited commercials and send them off to be played at a scheduled time on WPCE 1400 am or WBXB 100.1 fm. Thereby, my work with this company has truly served as an opportunity for me to broaden my experience within the business, fine arts, technical, and financial sector.

After severing an internship with the notable environmental association, The Sierra Club, I had participated in several volunteer opportunities, conducted research, completed data entry from phone banking, initiated collaborations with other political interests groups, communicated with several political officials in order to promote environmental legislation, spoke at public events on the behalf of the association and had empowered individuals in the community to become involved in supporting our cause.
