A little background on me, following high school I joined the Army where I was a Linguist and received multiple degrees including a Linguistics degree and a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. One of the biggest impacts in my life from being in the Army was how well it taught me to be a leader and create change. I learned that if I wanted to fix something, be the inspiration to make that change happen. In addition to many technical skills and abilities, my time with the Army left me with a desire to help others.I am now a Stay-At-Home mother to 4 brilliant and amazing kids, including a set of twins, who I have all homeschooled from the beginning. I believe it is never too early to begin education and because of that, my kids have a beautiful and strong love for learning.Over the years, I have learned so much about homeschooling, education, and children. With input from training, personal experiences, certifications, and other families, I have developed an entire method of educating children that will stop all the fighting and tears, and instead establish a successful homeschool with children who have a love for learning.By God's grace alone, I can balance my roles as a SAHM, homeschooler, and now coach, just to help other moms and dads out there who want to teach their children effectively but don't know how. I am on a mission to empower parents to be their child's main source of education and to do it confidently!My passion for family, education, and helping others is the driving force behind what I do. Together, we will explore the practical aspects of homeschooling, how to BEST teach your child, and how to make a strong educational foundation for both you and your child.
