• Directly or through subordinates, oversee and manage the financial and accounting functions of the credit union to include: ALM, AP, AR, budgets, collections, GL, financial analysis, financial reporting and recordkeeping, investments, payroll, and taxes.• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for the Accounting/Finance Department. Ensure that policies and procedures reflect current regulations and are communicated to and implemented by subordinates.• Manage Lending, Collections and Accounting Departments and related third party vendors.• Direct and supervise development, production, promotion, and sale of the credit union’s products and services.• Attend board meetings to present monthly reports to the board of directors.• Participate in determining deposit and loan rates.• Provide guidance regarding investment decisions.• Serve as trustee of the credit union’s pension plan.• Hold periodic staff meetings. Identify areas for improvement, changes in procedures, new developments, or changes in services. Keep staff up to date on trends and general credit union information.• Assist with lease negotiation and major purchasing decisions for capital equipment or other capital asset expenditures.• Provide direction for planning model runs.• Assist in analysis of new branch site locations and closings of existing branches.• Develop, perform, and oversee various internal audit procedures, i.e., cash counts, teller drawer audits, review of employee accounts, loan documentation, wire transfers, etc.• Serve as the credit union’s liaison with regulatory agency examiners and auditors.

I am responsible for developing the Credit Union's overall marketing plan. I recommend marketing approaches and perform creative duties related to the marketing function at the Credit Union. Coordinate and participate in community events and credit union publications. Additionally, on the financial side, I am responsible for maintaining investment records, generating ALM data for vendors, preparing month end financial reports for the Board of Directors, prepare incurred cost and provisional rate reports as necessary, serve at the Credit Union liaison with regulatory agency examiner and auditors. Also, I am responsible for paying all of the company taxes, posting payroll, escheating funds to the state for inactive accounts, and process the 401k plan biweekly.

Prepare and enter daily and monthly GL transactions including investment activity and schedules, employee payroll, pension, and 401k entries. Create monthly reports on company's investments as well as being an integral member of the Investment Committee. Prepare the credit union’s tax returns on a monthly and quarterly basis. Review and analyze financial data. Generate a variety of reports and statements. Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the credit union’s overall marketing and public relations plan. Researches marketing trends within the industry and integrates them into the marketing plan. Recommends marketing approaches and performs creative duties related to the marketing function at the credit union. Coordinates participation in community events and production of credit union publications. Assists in the administration of promotions and employee incentive programs. Cultivates new and maintains existing relationships with applicable vendors.

Perform teller duties including but not limited to; bank transactions, cash handling, servicing members daily, answering phone calls, distributing loan documents to members.

Create marketing plans to expand our membership, connect with potential select employee groups (SEGS), handle social media campaigns
