  My work experience includes working as a PCT at Davita Dialysis. I have the most one on one contact with the patients. I know them the best. I am responsible for opening the clinic early in the morning and getting everything ready for the day. This includes checking the water, making the bicarb, completing the required morning documentations, turning on and setting up all patient dialysis machines. I screen patients, check their post treatment vital signs, prepare and put the patient onto their treatment including cannulation, check vital signs every half hr, take patients off of their treatment, and ensure smooth patient turnover. Non patient contact responsibilities include preparing the next workday patient set up, making patient put on packs, making catheter packs, and stocking the unit.
