Strategic Policy Manager, Center For Consumer Engagement In Health Innovation
Current• Lead the development and implementation of federal and state policy agendas related to health care payment and delivery reform, patient-centered care, and health equity with a special emphasis on communities of color, older adults, low income populations, and people with disabilities and complex needs• Provide technical support and policy assistance to state grantees working on projects focused on engaging consumers around state level health care payment and delivery reform efforts• Provide organizational expertise on a number of policy issues related to health care payment and delivery reform including accountable care organizations, alternative payment models, and social determinants of health• Lead organizational response to federal proposals related to Medicaid, Medicare, and health innovation, including drafting comments in response to federal regulations and analyzing and preparing responses to legislative proposals • Author issue briefs and journal articles related to consumer engagement and payment and delivery reform• Develop and maintain relationships with lawmakers, consumer organizations, health plans and provider groups who are also engaged on health care payment and delivery reform issues
