About Danielle German

My research uses qualitative and quantitative methods to understand and address the social and structural context of health behavior and disease transmission, with particular emphasis on issues related to HIV, drug use, mental health, and LGBTQ+ health. I have a specific interest in social, housing, employment, and neighborhood stability and its impact on public health. I also spend a lot of time working at the intersection of research and practice to understand and address HIV and substance use in Baltimore and across Maryland.
