I am a Dental Hygienist from South Australia currently based in Launceston Tasmania. I work in general, ortho and perio practices. Continued professional development is very important to me in all fields. I have done a number of extended courses through the University of Melbourne such as the advanced orthodontic course and extra oral radiography.My passion is preventative health which has lead to my interest in health promotion and oral health education.For nine years I volunteered for the DHAA as an inaugural board member, editor of the bulletin, social media contributor, Vice President and President of the state branch. In these roles I have successfully organised and held numerous CPD days and the 2016 Hobart National Symposium.
