CurrentConstruction/Project Management duties include but are not limited to, estimating including analyzing and evaluating cost and price proposals, soliciting proposals, contract preparation, contract negotiation, administering contracts, terminating contracts, ensuring goals of small, local, and disadvantaged business, technical proposals, scheduling, quality control, construction management training, supervision of project team members, project administration, budgets, claims, project analysis (problem solving, analyzing, & monitoring) review of submittals, coordination of field activities and subcontractors’ work, and project execution. Duties also include planning, establishing, and reviewing contracts, programs, and policies/procedures which also includes staff advisory for organizations. Part of our responsibility includes collecting and submitting the certified payrolls for the prime contractor and their subcontractor to the Project Owner/Government Agency. Prior to submission, reviews the certified payrolls for errors and omissions. During the course of the projects also conducted site visits and worker interviews to ensure that the information indicated on certified payroll was correct.
