EHS Lead for 2 facilities. I handled all aspects of safety, health, and environmental including but not limited to: - incident management and elimination - OSHA compliance - behavior based safety initiatives - ergonomics improvements - EPA compliance - environmental improvement objectives

EHS lead for a food manufacturing facility.

I worked on several projects including:- Developed a training program to reach compliance under the new HazCom GHS standard. This project also included developing and implementing new chemical labeling procedures and the process of updating our SDS library. In order to accomplish this, I had to tackle the problem of maintaining a chemical inventory in an active workplace and ensuring every employee had access to SDSs and other safety information.- The implementation of a more in depth recycling project on site including new, more accessible recycling stations, with the desire to strive towards a decrease in overall consumption. In order to do this, an analysis of our recycling potential was needed as well as associate training to reinforce the policy. - Equipment inventory to improve machine safety and enhance LOTO procedures. The equipment inventory also led to renewed job hazards analyses.- Site wide improvement of our safety auditing policy.

I aided in compliance at Greatbatch including: - A site wide chemical inventory including 15+ labs - HMIS labeling of all chemicals onsite - Obtaining and updating MSDS's for every chemical found - LOTO - Hazardous waste inventory and removalI was also able to begin working on a complex sustainability and recycling plan for the facility.
