Key Objectives & Responsibilities:• Project Manage the entire life cycle of the full service product/project from brief to completion.• Responsible for ensuring on time delivery of the product within the agreed specification and cost.• Budget Management, responsible for calculating GM£ & %. Carrying out cost analysis on each project prior to initiation.• Liaise with all the relevant steak holders internally and external suppliers to ensure the cost feasibility on each project is positive.• Create and manage CPA for each project, issue key dates and CPA’s to each steak holders to ensure a clear delivery plan.• Build and maintain a good relationship with customers and suppliers.• Develop each product with the customer reviewing the products positing in the market in order to follow brand guidelines and consumer needs.• Problem solving/trouble shooting to attain project objectives.• To source and manage the manufacture of cosmetic packaging and the filling of colour cosmetic product ranges.• Oversee the completion of product testing and trouble shoot if testing failures arise.• Brief Designers on packaging, making sure regulatory information is present and the correct declarations are made.• Collation of technical information on Packaging in order for final safety assessments to be carried out prior to launch.• Liaise with Brand Managers and Marketing Support on technical solutions and innovative opportunities offered by suppliers, both for formulation and packaging.• Manage the induction and the development of a Junior Project manager.

This position whilst utilising my current skill set has helped develop my commercial skills further.• To source, purchase and achieve the supply of quality products to the business for a defined range.• Ensure products meet the needs of the customer base, deliver or exceed profit targets and are consistent with the values and principles of the business ensuring they meet the requirements of the category proposition• To ensure the execution of buying initiatives are operationally appropriate and are conducted in a timely and accurate manner• To be the principle communicator with and manage the performance of the supplier base• Deliver or exceed budgeted gross profit, for both % and £• Negotiate improved cost prices while ensuring the business principles of quality, availability and environmental ethics are maintained or enhanced.• Maximise net profit contribution by reducing stock loss, customer returns, and improving stock turn• Negotiate and agree annual Trading Terms maximising supplier rebate and additional contributions• Set Annual, Quarterly Sales and Profit Budgets.• Review product performance and mix to ensure maximum return from space is achieved• Support range reviews.

• Own label Projects – Responsible for liaising with Retail Buyers and an Account Manager to interpret an initial design brief.• Developing ranges from concept to sale of product.• Calculating a budget and a detailed CPA for each project.• Sourcing New Product and Manufacturers internationally.• Managing suppliers by measuring them using a KPI system.• Manage and develop an NPD Assistant.• Liaise cross functionally with QA, Logistics, Marketing, R&D and other key steak holders.• Create and Manage an NPD tracker.• Re-sourcing existing product as a cost saving exercise.• Search for suppliers that could offer innovative products in both the Professional and Retail Beauty Market.
