I am Agronomist Engineer graduated by ESALQ- University of São Paulo and have my PhD in Genetics and Plant Breeding also by ESALQ - University of São Paulo. Since 2008 I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher at CENA - USP, applying techniques of molecular biology and large scale sequencing in order to understand plant responses to different stress conditions and to identify candidate genes and/or pathways to be handle aiming at plant resistance. In 2016, I worked at University of California, San Diego, USA, as a Visiting Researcher. I have supervised projects at the Scientific Iniciation, Master and PhD dregrees, coordinating research groups in the Cell and Molecular Biology Lab. My main areas of experience are plant molecular biology and genetics, biotechnology, transcriptomics, proteomics, genetic transformation, bioinformatics. In 2019 I founded the Startup Metaquantion, where I am Leading R&D efforts to develop and commercialize molecular diagnostics for agricultural and industrial applications.
