CurrentI practice in FR’s business law group, with an emphasis on three main practice areas:1. Business purchase and sale transactions of a business and/or assets: I have experience acting for both the buyer and the seller on various types of transactions and in various industries, including franchises and other transactions with substantial intellectual property assets.2. Intellectual property law matters: I have experience advising clients on protecting and purchasing, selling or licensing intellectual property, including trademarks, copyright and patents. 3. General business legal matters: I have experience giving clients general business legal advice, including on the incorporation, organization and structure of corporations and other business entities, advising clients on finance matters, including acting for financial institutions and borrowers, and real estate and development, including commercial property purchases, sales and leases. I have experience advising start-up companies in a wide range of industries, on general corporate and commercial matters.I am fully fluent in French and English. I am a member of the Manitoba Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association and I am a registered Class 3 Trademark Agent in Training.
