I am a keen and enthusiastic Critical Care Outreach nurse and Advanced Care Practitioner on Same Day Emergency Care. I love these dynamic roles, simultaneously combining my emergency and critical care expertise, whilst welcoming extensive opportunities to teach and improve patient care and safety trust-wide. I also work as Deputy Sister on the Critical Care and High Dependency Units at Southend Hospital within a fantastic team. All roles provide excellent and continuous learning. I completed my Advanced Clinical Practice Masters and currently working as an ACP in Same Day Emergency Care as part of a promotional 2yr secondment. I thrive on a new challenge and my drive and ambition ensure that I always give 100%..In my spare time, I undertake a variety of roles through nursing agencies. These include working in Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments, a specialist Burns ITU, other General ITU’s and caring for patients living in their own homes requiring specialist care. This promotes current knowledge and hands-on skills whilst providing particularly diverse experiences. I enjoy networking with other professionals in hope of improving patient care and safety within my own role.Outside of work I love to explore nature and the outdoors. I enjoy traveling the world whilst pursuing my rock-climbing and snowboarding passions. I play several musical instruments and practice yoga.
